History
On Target Ministries began in 1994 when Vince D'Acchioli left his position as Executive Vice President of Every Home For Christ to respond to a strong call of God to reach men. It all began with the development of the Men On Target seminar. Over the past six years we have seen nearly 5,000 people make first time decisions to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and tens of thousands more re-dedicate their lives. The Men On Target seminar is considered by many to be one of the premier men's events in the country today.
In 1998 Vince, along with his wife Cindy, rolled out a new event called Couples On Target. Hundreds of married couples and families have been greatly impacted by this powerful seminar.
Born out of a growing concern for the health of the local church, Vince launched a new seminar in late 1998 exclusively for pastors. The Pastors On Target seminar is a one-day event designed to help senior pastors see a different paradigm for the twenty-first century church. Promise Keepers, Canada has asked Vince to conduct this influential seminar in several provinces where they are bringing local pastors together ahead of their scheduled PK rallies.
At the core of each of these powerful events there is a central premise. That premise is vision. Whether we are dealing with men, marriages or the church as an organization, vision is the key ingredient needed for success.
The Bible says, "Where there is no vision the people perish" (Prov. 29:18). The NIV is more contemporary when it quotes the same verse this way; "Where there is no revelation the people cast off restraint". In other words, without a vision or context for life-anything goes. Sadly, this is a way of thinking that has grasped our culture and even infiltrated the church.
